'JURASSIC WORLD' GETS
In casting news today, updates from the prehistoric set of JURASSIC WORLD, the fourth part of JURASSIC PARK franchise. After Bruce Dallas Howard, two young actors have joined the cast - Ty Simpkins (IRON MAN) and THE KINGS OF SUMMER and MELISSA AND JOEY delightful star Nick Robinson! Nick Robinson is set to play Ty Simpkins' older brother in the story which will be set in a JURASSIC WORLD, an entertainment park with real dinosaurs tamed for the visitors. The park will apparently have underwater dinosaurs too and the action will start when a T-Rex refuses to be tamed and wrecks havoc in the park.'CROSSBONES' EPIC SHOW
DAVID HOFLIN JOINS JOHN MALKOVICH'S BLACKBEARD
When it comes to TV updates, NBC pirate show CROSSBONES which will have John Malkovich playing infamous captain Blackbeard, has added Australian hunk David Hoflin and Yasmine al Massri to the cast. Deadline reports that the show, set in 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence where the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws and miscreant sailors, will see David Hoflin playing Vane, a pirate captain known for being a vicious, villainous and murderous predator. Al Massri will play Selma, a poised and elegant Arabian woman who is Blackbeard’s one confidante.

FIRST 'BELLE' TRAILER

Well, here's a clip we've been waiting for: the first trailer for period drama BELLE which I wrote about a couple of times throughout last year. Opening in theatres next May, BELLE is inspired by the true story of Dido Elizebeth Belle (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), the illegitimate mixed race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral (Matthew Goode). Raised by her aristocratic great-uncle Lord Mansfield (Tom Wilkinson) and his wife (Emily Watson), Belle's lineage affords her certain privileges, yet the colour of her skin prevents her from fully participating in the traditions of her social standing. Left to wonder if she will ever find love, Belle falls for an idealistic young vicar's son (Sam Reid) bent on change who, with her help, shapes Lord Mansfield's role as Lord Chief Justice to end slavery in England. The cast also includes Tom Felton, Sarah Gadon, Miranda Richardson...
