HOW TO MAKE LOVE LIKE AN ENGLISH- MAN

It seems that Pierce Brosnan will have gorgeous partners in his new movie HOW TO MAKE LOVE LIKE AN ENGLISHMAN. Deadline writes that Salma Hayek has joined him and Jessica Alba in the sexually charged romantic comedy in which Brosnan plays a Cambridge University prof who finds a woman who is his ideal match (Salma Hayek), forcing him to reevaluate his life of hedonistic excess. This comes after he impregnates her grad student stepsister (Jessica Alba). Brosnan will also star in THE COUP with Owen Wilson and Lake Bell, a film about an American family living in Southeast Asia who get caught in the middle of a violent military uprising.

'SALEM' HISTORICAL SERIES
In today's television news, WGN is preparing their first scripted 13 episode series SALEM, produced by STAR TREK's Brannon Braga. Set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts, the story will explore what really fueled the town’s infamous witch trials uncovering the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. The show, which centers on an epic romance, is said to deliver a new vision of witches who are real though they are not who or what they seem. Ashley Madekwe from REVENGE will play Tituba, Salem’s most powerful witch's exotic and mysterious right hand and helper who hasn’t aged in the ten years she has been apart from her master.
'BLOOD & ICE' SF DRAMA
Meanwhile, Cinemax is preparing western inspired sf drama BLOOD & ICE  about the near-future race to control the vast natural resources hiding in the Arctic. A series of brutal murders shatters the provincial calm of Greenland as Chinese, Americans and Russians start pouring into the region.

And to finish the day with TV news, Hallmark has officially ordered ten episodes of their pilot SIGNED, SEALED & DELIVERED turning it into a show! The pilot will premiere in the form of a movie this Saturday at Hallmark bringing to the small screens a comedic drama about an intrepid group of mail detectives in the Dead Letter Office who will deliver every last lost & dead letter to its rightful owner just when the recipient needs it most. Eric Mabius from UGLY BETTY is leading that cast, which also has Daphne Zuniga, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson.
